Kellie graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelors degree in psychology in 2010. Through working with various international organizations in Southeast Asia who empowered women coming out of the commercial sex industry, Kellie knew she found the work she was called to do. Upon her return to Texas, she met with the Co-CEO's of an incredible organization called Jesus Said Love. After the meeting, Kellie made the decision to bring Jesus Said Love to College Station as the City Team Leader. Jesus Said Love exists to share the revolutionary love of Christ with women in the commercial sex industry, awakening hope and empowering change. During her time as the City Team Leader in College Station, she also pursued her alternative teaching certificate and was a middle school teacher at a charter school in Bryan. In 2013, Kellie accepted a full time position with Jesus Said Love, overseeing the JSL programs across the state of Texas. She moved to Waco, Texas to be located at the centralized headquarters for Jesus Said Love and it was in Waco on a Good Friday outreach in 2016 that she met her soon to be husband, Derek who was volunteering with the organization! They were married in May of 2017. Kellie is still functioning as the Director of Programs for Jesus Said Love, focusing most of her time and attention on a program called Access, which is an eight week holistic training program for women exiting the industry. She is currently one year in to a Masters of Social Work degree through the University of Houston.
