Any woman, 18 and older!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MAIN SESSIONS?
During main sessions, we will have worship, prayer, and teaching. We will also have a response time to process what the Lord might be doing in us.
WHAT WILL THE TEACHING BE ON?
Each main session and Inspire session speaker will cover various topics that relate to the Christian life but all will be built on the foundation of the experience of knowing Jesus and His character changes everything. We hope that as we come together and learn about who God is, our identities will be seen more clearly as we look at the Scriptures. You Are is not about you, but rather about you hearing who God is and in turn testifying that to Him and others. In His kindness and mercy, we learn more about ourselves in the process!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dress is casual; you may want a light jacket in the main sanctuary during sessions. It can get a little chilly!
WHAT TIME AND WHERE IS CHECK-IN?
Check-in will be Friday, Jan. 24. It will be from 4:45PM-6:45PM in the main sanctuary, main entrance. You are welcome to come at any point during that time to check-in. After check-in you are free to leave and come back (your wristband given at check-in will be your ticket in, so no need to re-check in if you leave and come back), or you are welcome to spend that time in our Market & Ministry Fair area getting an early start on visiting booths!
WHAT MEALS ARE PROVIDED?
Friday night we will have snacks and coffee, teas, etc during our ministry fair piece of the weekend. We will have coffee available Saturday morning as well. Saturday lunch will be off Campus (coupons for local restaurants will be in your welcome bag!).
WHAT IS THE MARKET & MINISTRY FAIR?
This is one of our favorite parts of the weekend. Following the first main session on Friday night, we will have a ministry fair in the main foyer in the main building. There will be baked goods provided by a local bakery, coffee, and ministry booths from women's ministries in town, as well as a market comprised of non-profits that support women & children- both locally & globally. This will be a great chance to connect with churches in the area, other women and have some great hang out time together! The non-profit vendors will have products available, each purchase benefiting those in need and the spreading of the gospel. Both the ministry fair and market will be open throughout the weekend, but Friday is the main bulk of time you will have to visit it.
WHO IS PUTTING THE CONFERENCE ON? IS IT A LOCAL CHURCH'S EVENT?
YOU ARE is hosted by several women in the community that joined together under the name of Jesus to seek Him together! It isn't through one specific church, but rather through a group of women from several different churches, representing the diversity and unity of the body of Christ. Our heart is not to lift up the name of any church, but only the name of Jesus throughout the weekend. We desire for women to deeply connect to the local church, which is why we are having the ministry fair. We love and support the local church, many of our team being on staff at various churches, and are grateful for so many solid churches in the area that are passionate about the gospel and seeing the lost be found!
WHAT IF I NEED SOMEONE TO PRAY WITH ABOUT SOMETHING SPECIFIC THROUGHOUT THE CONFERENCE?
We will have a prayer and ministry room open in between each session, throughout the entire weekend. You can check your program for the location! We will have some women from the community to pray with you if/when needed.
IS THERE A WAY I CAN DONATE TO THE CONFERENCE OR GIVE A SCHOLARSHIP?
Yes! Just head to the registration page and scroll down and select donation. Enter the amount you would like to give- then select in the additional information section if you would like your donation to go towards scholarships, You Are general donation or to Living Room Sessions.We are thankful for any gift!
WILL THERE BE ITEMS FOR PURCHASE AT THE CONFERENCE?
Yes! We will have You Are T-shirts and jewelry! Musicians will have music available for purchase and Non-profit booths will have merch for sale to benefit their organizations. Cash, check or card are accepted at most stations!
I AM A PART OF A CHURCH OR A NON-PROFIT AND WOULD LOVE TO BE AT YOUR MINISTRY FAIR. HOW CAN I GO ABOUT THAT?
Just email us your info at email@example.com! Let us know the name of your church or non-profit and we will direct you from there on next steps to register for the ministry fair.
WHERE WILL MY SEAT BE LOCATED?
Seats are general admission, first come, first serve every session. So be sure to be on time and grab a seat once doors are opened!
DO YOU HAVE A REFUND POLICY?
Yes! We can honor a full refund 30 days or more prior to the event. A partial refund of 50% of the ticket cost will be honored up to 1 week out. We will not be able to refund the week of the event.
